Meet the Team
Chris Ockwig
President
Probe Engineering Company, Inc.
As a 34-year veteran of Probe Engineering, Chris has a long history of driving strategy and advancing the company’s business initiatives. As president, he is also responsible for overseeing the firm’s successful operations, including a multi-disciplined approach to planning, design, and engineering.
Chris is passionate about managing large development projects from beginning to end and helping clients navigate the permit process.
In his free time Chris enjoys traveling, fishing, sports, and music.
Joe Maurer, PE, PLS, PMP
Vice President
Probe Engineering Company, Inc.
Joe Maurer has worked in engineering and construction for more than 20 years. He currently works on a variety of commercial and residential projects ranging from design, storm water analysis, quality control, and land surveying.
Joe graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and a M.S. in Infrastructure Systems Engineering. Additionally, he is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP), a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS), and a Professional Engineer (PE).
Outside of work, Joe enjoys anything outdoors, as well as traveling, hunting, and reading.
